The answer is Yes, it can engrave color.But how we get color by a 3D machine? If it will easy to get?
For color engrave, the most important thing is choose a JPT Mopa laser source for machine, this is the basic of color engrave. Also this is why the machine can engrave color.
But the parameters setting and operation will a little different from the 2D and 2.5D machine.
The first step for color engrave, we need to know what parameters is determine the appearance of different colors, the next step is how to operate it.
The first step we need to discuss is the parameter setting, as we all know, 3D Lenmark software have lots of parameters setting, some parameters setting is not same as 2D machine, so maybe you will curious if every parameters i need to adjust? Answer is no.
If you have some experience on 2D laser machine color engrave, you will know the main parameters setting to get color is frequency, pulse width, speed, power,and hatch.
In the same way, even if the 3D machine have more parameters setting, we only need to adjust the power, frequency,pulse width and speed.
So how we start at next step?
We need to create some square in software.
Then we choose the pen no. one by one,to hatch the color.
When we get the hatch in square, we can adjust the parameters setting. Try again and again to get a color same as your pen no. If you get another color you want , you can save the parameters and get the new pen no. to mark it.
When you get all color done in square. You can import your files you want to engrave color.
Import a files you wan to engrave color.and make hatch one by one according your pen No.
Hatch one by one done, we can start to engrave color.
Then, you will get a great color engrave sample.
