There are numerous different brand and different model laser source in laser source market. So how we choose a right laser source for our works?
When we want to buy a laser source, we will get many different suppliers they sell different brand, some of them are from china, some of them are from USA, some of them are from German. But we may curious about which brand i need to choose, what i should get? let’s talk about it.
There are four most popular brands of laser source:

(2) JPT
(3) Raycus
(4) Max
What are the differences between those brands.
(1).The IPG brand laser source. it is best quality and stable for cutting and engraving, it’s good for big space area cutting and the effect it excellent.
But it’s most expensive laser source than other brands laser source.
(2). JPT brand laser source. JPT brand laser source is famous as mopa series laser source, mopa series laser source is good for metal and some non-metal engrave. Such as PU, ABS Plastic, Polymer. If you want to engrave those non-metal and engrave metal. JPT brand laser source also very good for cutting thick metal, The metal cut surface is smooth without burrs, and his single pulse energy is bigger than other same power laser source. Price is cheap than IPG laser source, but expensive than Raycus and Max.
(3). Raycus brand laser source. This brand laser source is most famous in the laser source market, this brand laser source is relatively inexpensive,Raycus brand and JPT brand is best selling brand.
Also they have almost same quality and stability.
(4). Max brand laser source. This brand laser source is cheapest than JPT,Raycus,IPG brand. If you will use for heavy cutting machine, choose the Max laser source will be better, they are good for high power laser source.
In general, different brand with different advantage and disadvantage, which one to choose depends on what works you are going to do.
If you are going to engrave logo, pictures,ear tags, choose a Raycus brand is fine, if you want to do deep engrave, cut jewelry, and do some works precision, engrave PU,ABS plastic, such as engrave keyboards, and your budget is enough,choose a JPT brand. In a word, JPT will be better than Raycus in the applied range.
About the IPG brand and Max brand,they are big difference in price, IPG is most expensive brand laser source, but it’s table and their service is great, if you will do some very high precision engraving and the price is no problem for you,you’d better choose IPG.
And the Max brand, if you will use laser source for laser welding machine and laser cutter, max not a bad choice, it is cheap price and good quality in high power laser source.
